Brian Lemay

A character/prop designer for "Inspector Gadget" for many of the episodes, he and a partner worked on 64 shows from January to June of 1983. They were the only two character designers.

He designed such characters as MAD Agents, scientists, animals and Penny's friends. Primary characters had already been designed by others.

Lemay says he often gets asked about what Claw really looked like. His response is that no one ever did any "joke" drawings of Claw; in fact, Lemay doesn't remember the topic ever being brought up (among the character designers).
